Tournament Information

A.Y.S.O. Region 119 is proud to invite your team to the Mililani A.Y.S.O. Summer Classic

Scope:

A.Y.S.O. Sectional – open to A.Y.S.O. teams from Section 7.

When:

Saturday, May 24, through Monday, May 26, 2008.

Where:

The tournament will be held at Maka’unulau Community Park (16 Acres) for U10, U12, and U14 boys and girls in Mililani.

Who:

Division U-10 boys and girls will play 7-v-7 with a roster limit of 10 players per team.
Division U-12 boys and girls will play 9-v-9 with a roster limit of 12 players per team.
Division U-14 boys and girls will play 11-v-11 with a roster limit of 15 players per team.
All players must be registered to play in the A.Y.S.O. 2007 Fall Season. NO GUEST PLAYERS.

What:

Teams will play a minimum of 3 games (weather and field conditions permitting). Game duration shall be as follows, U-10, 25 minute halves, U-12, 30 minute halves, and U-14, 35 minute halves.

Why:

The Mililani A.Y.S.O. Summer Classic is being conducted as a fundraiser by Region 119 to raise funds for field development, equipment, and maintenance for youths in Region 119.

Entry Fee, Refunds:

Entire fee and referee deposit must accompany tournament application and will be returned if application is not accepted. Fee must be a single check issued from the respective Region’s account (no personal checks). TEAM FEES; TEAM ENTRY, U10, $150.00,  U12, $175.00,  U14, $200.00.  REFEREE DEPOSIT, $150.00. If the tournament cannot be held due to weather or other conditions beyond the control of the tournament hosts, a refund, less $50.00 and the cost of any pre-ordered items, will be issued. Pre-ordered items will be sent to the team. If a team withdraws, no refund will be provided.

Referee Fee, Refunds:

$150.00, refundable within 30 days of the tournament, if referee assignments have been completed. Each team is asked to provide a qualified 3-person referee team to cover 3 games during the tournament. Should a team’s referees fail to appear for any of their assigned games, a portion of the team’s referee deposit, based on $50.00 per game, may be forfeited. Teams choosing NOT to provide a referee team will be replaced by teams willing to provide a referee team.

Acceptance:

The application deadline is May 09, 2008. All teams will be notified within 48 hrs. of the application deadline or receipt of application (whichever is latest) as to their status. Teams that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list.

How:

Team entry applications and all necessary forms are available on the tournament website, www.mililaniayso.com/summerclassic. Entire fee and referee deposit must accompany tournament application and will be returned if application is not accepted. Please send 2 Region checks, one for the Team Entry and one for the Referee Deposit. Make Region checks (No personal checks) payable to A.Y.S.O. Region 119.

Coach’s Meeting:

The Coach’s Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Maka’unulau Park. Pre-ordered t-shirts will be ready for pick up at the meeting.
